VISUAL BRANDING FOR ACTORS
Recommended by top agents and casting directors. A P Wilding is London's Leading Headshot Expert, specializing in high-end, cinematic headshots capturing casting directors’ attention.

The industry is fast, saturated, and unforgiving. Every casting director is flooded with submissions — so unless your headshot, Spotlight profile, and showreel are telling one clear, compelling story, you’re getting lost in the scroll.
This Isn’t Just About Headshots. It’s About Control.
Only 2% of actors make a living in this crazy game.
The rest are floating — unclear on what they offer, and blending into the noise.
This is your moment to decide:
Do you want to keep hoping something changes?
Or do you want to take control of how you’re seen, cast, and remembered?
The good news? You can stand out — but only if you start thinking like a business, not a hopeful.

Why Work With Me? Because I used to be you...
When I was acting, I was confused about what casting actually responded to.
After 15 years in front of the camera and over a decade behind it, I know how quickly images are read. With over 90,000 actors on Spotlight, clarity isn’t optional.
I’ve worked with thousands of actors and consistently hear the same thing from agents and casting directors: my images get noticed.
I don’t just take headshots. I work closely with you to be able to craft visual branding that positions you exactly where you need to be seen. If your image doesn’t communicate clarity instantly, you’re already out.
This isn’t luck. It’s strategy.
Top actors don’t wing it. They engineer every edge.
This is that edge.

If You Don’t Take Action...
• You’ll keep booking headshots without a clear casting direction
• Your Spotlight profile will stay vague, confusing, or forgettable
• You’ll continue sending out self-tapes and reels that don’t hit the mark
• Agents and CDs will keep overlooking you — not because you’re not good, but because they don’t know what they’re looking at
Most actors never address the real issue: MISALIGNMENT.
They have talent, they train, they invest in new headshots — but nothing changes. Why? Because they’re building their career without a brand.
If you don’t take control of your positioning, the industry won’t do it for you.

When Do You Need New Headshots?
If your submission pattern changes — for example, you’re getting self-tapes but not progressing — it may be time to review your images. Sometimes it’s simply that you no longer look quite like your headshot. Casting directors scan quickly; you should feel instantly recognisable.
For most adults, headshots last around two years unless there are visible changes (hair, weight, overall presentation). Under 16s usually need updates more often.
That said, new photos aren’t always the answer — sometimes it’s about positioning or sequencing. Strategic guidance will be available via Advisory (launching May 2026).
"Outstanding experience from start to finish!"
Her wealth of knowledge on headshots, branding and casting types is invaluable and we talked through my spotlight profile and expectations for what I needed from headshots which was brilliant...it meant we could work in a really focussed way.
